1. Who I am
This website (altoroofingoxford.co.uk) is run by Altin Lila, trading as Alto Roofing, a sole trader based in Grandpont, Oxford OX1 ("I", "me"). I am the controller of the personal data described here.
You can contact me about your data at info@altoroofingoxford.co.uk or on 07306 077999.
2. What I collect
When you fill in the quote form: your name, phone number, the postcode of the property, a description of the roof problem and, if you choose, your email address and photos of the roof.
When you call, message me on WhatsApp or email me: your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell me or send me, such as photos of your roof.
When I quote for or carry out a job: the property address, the work agreed, the written quote, the guarantee, and photos of the work. If you are a landlord or letting agent, also the tenant contact details you give me to arrange access.
Automatically, when you use the site: your IP address and basic technical information about your browser and device. My hosting provider uses this to deliver the site, and a spam check on the quote form uses it too. I do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Photos of a roof can show a house number, people or neighbouring property. Please avoid sending photos of people.
3. Why I use it, and the lawful basis

I do not use your details for marketing, and I do not sell them.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some providers, including Cloudflare, may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
6. How long I keep it

After that I delete the data or make it anonymous.
7. How I keep it safe
The site uses HTTPS. Form entries and photos are stored in a password-protected admin area that only I can access. I keep my phone and email accounts protected with passwords.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of the data I hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data, where I have no reason to keep it;
- restrict or stop using it, or object to how I use it;
- give you your data in a format you can pass to someone else.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, please tell me first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
9. Children
This site is for adults arranging roof work. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If I change how I use your data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
