Emergency roofer in Oxford, any time, day or night
Leak, storm damage or tiles blown off: call me any time. I'm usually with you in about an hour, with no extra charge at night.
No call-out charge, day or night
As an emergency roofer in Oxford, you can call me 24/7, and I'm usually with you in about an hour, with no extra charge for nights or weekends. Typical roof emergencies are water through a ceiling, tiles or a ridge blown off in a gale, or a chimney pot or flashing loosened by wind. I find where the water is getting in and fix the cause, not just the stain.
What happens when you call
Call me, any time
Call 07306 077999. Ring at any hour, bank holidays included. Tell me what you can see and your postcode; a WhatsApp photo helps if it's safe to take one.
I come out
For an emergency I'm usually with you in about an hour.
Find the cause
I trace where the water gets in, from the loft and the roof, and check for anything loose.
Stop the water
I do a quick fix to stop the water coming in. What that is depends on the problem.
The proper repair
I give you a free written quote, then come back to do the proper repair. You pay the price we agreed. If I find more work once I've started, I talk it through with you first.
Questions about emergency call-outs
Can I get a roofer out tonight or at the weekend?
Yes. You can call me at any time, day or night, evenings, weekends and bank holidays included. Ring 07306 077999 rather than messaging, so I can ask what you can see and tell you what to do until I arrive.
How quickly can you get to me in an emergency?
For an emergency I'm usually with you in about an hour in Oxford and the towns around it. I'm based in Oxford, so most of the city is a short drive, and the towns around it aren't far. Give me your postcode when you call, and tell me where the water is coming in.
Do you charge extra for emergency call-outs?
No. There's no call-out charge, day or night, and no extra charge for evenings or weekends: a storm at 2am on a Sunday costs the same as a Tuesday afternoon. The repair itself is priced once I've seen what's wrong, and the quote is free.
What can you do on the night to stop the water coming in?
I do a quick fix to stop the water, then come back to do the proper repair. What the quick fix is depends on the problem: re-fixing tiles, sheeting over a gap, or making a loose chimney pot safe. Until I arrive, follow the steps at the top of this page. My guide covers the rest.
Do you fix storm and wind damage?
Yes. I replace blown-off and slipped tiles, re-bed ridge tiles, and repair pots, cowls and flashing loosened by wind. Wind often loosens the tiles next to the ones it took, so a few more can lift in the next gale.
